New Moon in Aquarius | 2022

Hello, and happy New Moon.

This New Moon in Aquarius is a call to action. If you do not have a plan already laid out, now is the time to formulate one. Everything is waiting for you, but nothing is willing to stay still. The sooner you embark on this hunt, the better off you’ll be.

Our New Moon in Aquarius will occur on February 1, at approximately 12:45 AM (EST), at 12° and 19’.

New Moon in Aquarius

This Aquarian lunation is challenging our concepts of change, as well all the ways we exercise control in our lives. Now more than ever, we are craving new and exciting experiences. The limits you’ve set for yourself are now the heights you feel you must surpass. But as ready as you are, this Aquarian energy may make it difficult to decide how to move forward. You may become so overwhelmed by the mere thought of change that you do not know how to summon it — let alone if you truly want it. Under this New Moon, do not feel pressured to implement change when there is no need for it. Sometimes, it is just as difficult to embrace your surroundings as it is to leave them. Don’t run from peace.

If you’re unsure of how to proceed, take a moment to pause, and reflect. Ask yourself: What choices have led me to be where I am now? Then ask: What choices am I making that are actively keeping me here? If you are happy with where you are, analyze how you can upkeep your current way of being. If you are unhappy with where you are, then perhaps it is time to change. Know that this change can be as major or minor as you like. The newness you invite into your life should be based on your wants and needs. It does not need to conform to what others think is best, or what they deem a valid or good change. With Aquarius, independence is essential. If you do not trust yourself enough to make decisions without the input or guidance of others, they will make you aware of this — and they will challenge you. Under this New Moon, work to take responsibility for yourself, along with all the choices you have — or have yet — to make. They are yours for the taking.
